The head is built so you replace the cartridge rather than the whole thing. When the spray starts to fur up, swap it.

How long one lasts depends on how hard your water is and how long your showers are. We would rather not print a figure we can't stand behind — when we have real numbers from use, they'll go here.

These fit the velyras Filtered Shower Head. We can't promise they fit other brands' heads, so don't buy them for one.
